8th Oct (sun) - London

Judith brought us to her favourite breakfast place this morning. It was a good walk to the delightful cafe. It was lovely to be greeted by the smell of fresh bread. We reached there promptly at 10am which is the time it opens.
The seating area wasn't huge and it didn't take long for the cafe to fill up. We had a good healthy breakfast and shared fresh bread. Judith tells us that Tor used to make such good bread at home! When we parted with Judith, we took walks in the area, went to the Sunday market, went to Leicaster Square and walked to the Tower Bridge from there. We then headed back to Leicaster Square to catch "The Departed".
Sitting through the show, I was disappointed to learn that I knew each twist and turn of the movie as it was almost identical to the Hong Kong hit "Infernal Affairs". The only difference was that the bad guy died too in the English version. Ross enjoyed himself thoroughly but felt that it was a bit too violent.

Tor is due back from Lillehammer tonight at around 10pm. He was slightly late coming back and bought lots of Norwegian chocolates for us to try.
