Burj Al Arab Day 3

Went to the sky lounge to check out the view from the top. The restaurant was not open for lunch yet at 11am. We then went out to the Jumeirah beach for brunch. In the afternoon, after we checked out, we went to the pool. The pool wasn't huge. Initially I thought the umbrellas could lend us some shelter under the sweltering heat. But the wind got too strong and the staff had to close all the umbrellas. The only other option was to get into the pool to get cool.


After which, we checked in to Holiday Inn Downtown. Soon after check in, we went to checkout the Goldsmith market but was disappointed by the gaudy looking jewellery. In fact, we got lost but saw a lot of other markets like shoe, electronic and perfume markets. The heat was too much to bear and we hopped into a cab and went to a Japanese restaurant called Kiku at Meridian Hotel. The food was great, convincing us that in Dubai, you can't really go wrong with any food that you choose.
